This decision by the SNB reflects the resilience of the domestic market in the face of inflation. Measures implemented over the past two and a half years have proven effective in curbing price increases, which have been more severe elsewhere. Inflation in Switzerland has remained below 2%, which the SNB defines as price stability. Similar declines in other regions further support cautious optimism. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

GDP did grow last year, albeit at a moderate pace. The services sector performed relatively well, but industrial output stagnated.
